Terms of Use

Last updated 23 July 2026

The short version

Baby Care Track is a simple, friendly tool to help you and your partner keep track of feeds, nappy changes and timings in your baby’s first weeks. We built it to make the 3am moments a little calmer.

It’s a personal note-keeping tool — nothing more. These terms are the agreement between you and Maria Pastor Paz, who runs Baby Care Track (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using the app, you accept them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

Who can use it

You need to be at least 18 (or the age you’re considered an adult where you live) and able to enter into a binding agreement.

The app is meant for parents, guardians and carers keeping track of their own child. You’re responsible for everyone you invite into your household.

Not medical or professional advice

Baby Care Track does not give medical, health or any other professional advice, and nothing in it should be taken as guidance on how to feed or care for your baby.

The reminders, intervals and summaries are simple conveniences based only on what you type in — they are not recommendations about what your baby needs.

You know your baby best. For anything about their health, feeding, growth or wellbeing, please rely on your own judgement and speak to a qualified professional — your doctor, midwife, health visitor or paediatrician. If you ever think something is wrong, contact them or your local emergency services straight away.

Health information and the Carer companion

The crying helper, milestones and Carer companion provide general information sourced from the NHS. They don’t provide medical advice or diagnosis and are not a substitute for professional medical care. Always use your own judgement; if you’re worried about your baby, contact your GP, call NHS 111, or call 999 in an emergency.

Beta features are provided “as is” and may change or be withdrawn.

Provided “as is”

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise it will be accurate, uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that reminders will always arrive on time — or at all.

Notifications depend on your device and network and can be delayed or missed, so please don’t rely on them as your only way to remember a feed.

You use Baby Care Track at your own risk.

Our liability

Baby Care Track is a free tool offered in good faith, and we aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for lost or inaccurate data, or for any harm arising from your use of — or inability to use — the app, or from relying on anything in it (including reminders).

There’s no guarantee the app will always be available or kept running.

Your account and your part

You sign in with Apple, Google, or a one-time code (and magic link) we email you. Keep your sign-in method and email account secure, as anyone with access to them can reach your data here. Sign-in codes and links are personal to you — please don’t share them.

You can invite others into your household with an invite link (and, on some flows, a short PIN). Only share these with people you trust: anyone who joins can see and change your shared data, including everything you’ve logged. You can regenerate the invite link at any time to cut off old access.

You’re responsible for the information you enter and for who you invite. Please use the app fairly, and don’t try to disrupt, misuse, copy or gain unauthorised access to it or to other people’s data.

The app itself

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to use Baby Care Track for its intended purpose. We keep all rights in the app and its design.

The information you log stays yours — using the app doesn’t give us any ownership of it.

Services we rely on

To run the app we use a few trusted providers: Apple and Google (sign-in), Resend (sending your sign-in emails), Cloudflare (hosting, database and storage), Expo (delivering app updates and routing notifications to mobile devices), and your device’s push service — Apple Push Notification service or your browser’s web-push service (reminders).

We’re not responsible for those third-party services, which have their own terms. The app may also link out to things like the App Store; those are run by others too.

Changing or stopping the service

Because it’s a free tool, we may change, pause or withdraw the app (or any part of it) at any time. You can stop using it whenever you like, and you can leave a household, sign out or delete your account from the Account screen.

We may suspend or remove access if the app is misused or used in breach of these terms.

If you’re using the iOS app (Apple App Store)

These terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple isn’t responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any support or maintenance for it.

To the extent the law allows, any claim that the app doesn’t conform to a warranty is between you and us, and Apple isn’t responsible for addressing it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Your use must also follow the App Store Terms of Service and Apple’s usage rules.

The law that applies

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of them or your use of the app, are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW JURISDICTION], and the courts there have jurisdiction.

If you’re a consumer, none of this takes away the protection of any rules in your own country that must apply to you whatever these terms say — you keep those rights.

Changes to these terms

We may update the app and these terms from time to time, and we’ll change the date below when we do. If you keep using Baby Care Track after a change, that means you accept the updated terms.

If part of these terms can’t be enforced

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing something straight away doesn’t mean we’ve given up the right to do so later.
